Skills Catalog
Skills are reusable packages of instructions and supporting resources that give an AI agent a reliable way to handle specialized work. The Supercode Skills Catalog helps you find useful Skills, understand what they contain, evaluate available trust signals, and install them without leaving Codex or Cursor.
Curated collections
Instead of presenting one unstructured list, Supercode organizes selected Skills into curated collections for different kinds of work. Collections can focus on themes such as frontend craft, agent productivity, or editor recommendations, so you can explore related capabilities together.
Collections are reviewed and updated regularly as useful Skills appear, existing Skills change, and the ecosystem evolves. A collection is a discovery aid, not a substitute for reviewing an individual Skill before installing it. Some premium collections require the subscription shown on the collection page.
Discover and compare Skills
Open the Supercode menu and select Skills. You can search the catalog, open curated collections, or browse rankings such as All Time Best, Trending (24h), and Hot.
Catalog and Skill pages provide context that helps you compare alternatives:
- all-time installation counts and recent installation history where available;
- source repository or website, publisher, and links to the original source;
- first-seen and latest-observed dates, plus repository information such as stars;
- an extracted description, a concise summary, and declared metadata such as license;
- available security-audit results and the current raw
SKILL.md.
Installation activity is useful for understanding adoption and momentum, but popularity alone does not mean that a Skill is appropriate for every project.
Inspect before installing
A Skill page lets you read its summary and raw instructions before installation. Supercode regularly revisits upstream sources, inspects their contents in isolation, and refreshes the catalog copy when new content is observed. Catalog metadata, rankings, installation activity, and audit information are also refreshed as updated data becomes available.
When audit providers publish results for a Skill, the catalog shows the provider and reported status in a dedicated section. Audit results and curation are useful signals, not a security guarantee. Before installing, review the instructions, source, requested tools, and any scripts or supporting files that the Skill uses—especially for sensitive repositories or environments.
Install a Skill
- Open a Skill from the catalog and review its details.
- Select Install to add it to the current workspace, or choose the global option to make it available on this computer.
- If the Skill is already present, use Reinstall to refresh the installed copy.
Supercode checks whether the Skill is already present and reports installation progress or errors in the catalog. The installer is managed and its updates are validated before use. The Other options menu also provides an npx skills add command and a ready-to-use agent prompt when you prefer another installation flow.
